On Friday the 3 June, UXV Technologies represented by CEO Steven Friberg, And Sales Director Karsten Viuf Meet up with Congressman Glenn Thompson (https://thompson.house.gov) and John Joyce (https://johnjoyce.house.gov/) in Pennsylvania Johnstown.
As UXV Delegation was visiting Johnstown to screen and find suitable facilities for local production of UXV Products for US Defense programs, We had the chance to meet with the above-mentioned Congressman.
During this trip, UXV was assisted by Deputy Ambassador, Henrik Bramsen Hahn, Embassy of Denmark in the United States, and Klaus Bolving, Director of Center for Defense, Space, and Security Denmark.
UXV Briefed GT Thompson (GT) regarding our SRoC Program with DIU, and we also had the time to showcase the SRoC controller, GT’s reaction was he was very impressed with the design and capabilities of the technology. GT Thompson has a son that is serving in the US armed forces, and therefore he explicitly said he is interested in supporting technologies that do NOT make a fair fight. He also identified the threats from China and Russia where it is important to keep up the development speed since our adversaries are very quick to adopt.
This is the second meeting with UXV and GT, he is very impressed with the development of the company and with the presented SRM standard, this will reduce physical footprint and further investments in proprietary hardware that only serves one product.
GT is a strong supporter of the US Armed forces and his opinions can be found here: https://thompson.house.gov/issues/military-service-veterans-affairs

UXV had the honor to present our result of the collaboration with DIU, we briefed Congressman John Joyce about the impact of unifying hardware on the soldier, and why open standards for the defense technologies and investments into new capabilities are important. John Joyce is a member of the China task force, where his role is to lead Congress strategy to combat the growing threat of the Chinese Communist Party and he wants to equip Americans to lead in the years to come. John Joyce acknowledged why the speed of technology is important to keep up with China and to counter with a more united multidomain military.
