Mayor of Ishøj visits UXV Technologies

One and a half years ago UXV Technologies moved to Ishøj and our presence in Ishøj has not gone by unnoticed. 

“Ishøj is a good location for us because it is close enough to Copenhagen to attract highly educated workers from Copenhagen while also hiring people for our production,” our CEO, Steven Friberg, explains about choosing Ishøj for our headquarters.  

Since our move to Ishøj, we have had a good collaboration with Ishøj Municipality and that was also the focus of the meeting with The Mayor and Municipal Director. We discussed recruitment, attracting international labor, and framework conditions for growth companies in Ishøj.

As an international company, it is crucial for us to have close collaboration with the local area regarding the recruitment of employees from both Denmark and abroad, and we appreciate the good collaboration with the municipality.

Since the war broke out in Ukraine, we have hired five Ukrainian refugees, which makes us the company in Ishøj with the most hires. This is also one of the reasons we recently received Ishøj Municipality's Code of Care price.
