The Navigator Tab 5 is an easily extendable add-on to an existing Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 5, allowing you to bring your own device (BYOD) to "dock" the tablet and gain the capability to operate using the Navigator Tab 5's joysticks, buttons, and stylus. The Tab 5 is a ground control station intended for commercial use, optimizing the user experience with its sleek and improved ergonomic design.

Featuring 2x 2-axis joysticks with built-in buttons, 2x 1-axis joysticks with built-in buttons, and 12x additional buttons, the Navigator Tab 5 is designed to meet customers' needs for button mapping. The Navigator Tab 5 uses a USB-C port for both charging and data transfer.

The Navigator Tab 5 is a continuation of the successful previous Navigator Tab 3 controller. The new Navigator Tab 5 comes with multiple upgrades allowing for more HID options, better comfort for the operator, and a new design. The Navigator Tab 5 is backwards compatible meaning it is compatible with previous NavBays and tablets intended for the Navigator Tab 3.
